IDENTIFICATA GRAZIE A VESTITI ED APPARECCHIO DENTI - E' stata identificata grazie ai vestiti e all'apparecchio per i denti Yara Gambirasio. Il corpo è infatti in avanzato stato di decomposizione e soltanto i vestiti - identici a quelli che Yara indossava la sera della scomparsa - hanno consentito l'identificazione. Nel punto in cui è stato ritrovato il corpo, un campo incolto molto vicino ad un fiume, sono presenti polizia, carabinieri e un medico legale.
CORPO NON LONTANO DA CENTRO COORDINAMENTO RICERCHE - Il corpo di Yara é stato trovato in un'area incolta che, per ironia della sorte, si trova a poche centinaia di metri da quello che era il centro di coordinamento delle ricerche della ragazza. Il luogo, nel comune di Chignolo, è al confine con il comune di Madone e a circa 300 metri dal Comando Polizia Locale dell'Isola Bergamasca che, dopo i primi giorni in cui i centri di coordinamento erano in due o tre posti diversi, era stato unificato presso il comando dei vigili che serve i comuni dell'Isola Bergamasca. Per quasi tre mesi forze dell'ordine e volontari della Protezione Civile hanno setacciato la provincia in cerca di Yara, perlustrando aree verdi, boscose, montuose, fiumi e rogge, mentre il corpo di Yara si trovava a poche centinaia di metri da loro.
